The origin of Greater Deliverance Baptist Church took place on April 2, 1997.  The church was found, established, and named by our Pastor, Rev. James Dixon on the date of his birth.

The congregation marched into the sanctuary located at 705 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, NW, Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, July 6, 1997.
